Ms. Milanese, a New Orleans native, has been lauded as a "soaring lyric soprano capable of heart-stopping soft effects” (Philadelphia Magazine). Ashley has performed both internationally and locally with the New Orleans Opera as the Sandman in Hansel and Gretal, as well as with the Metropolitan Opera, Sarasota Opera, Teatro Regio Torino, Komische Oper Berlin, Opera Philadelphia, Mostly Mozart Festival, Opera San Antonio, Opera in the Heights in Houston, Ljubljana Festival, and the Adelaide Music Festival.
In 2024–2025, Ms. Milanese returned to Sarasota Opera following her acclaimed debut as Lucia di Lammermoor to sing Nedda in I Pagliacci, and joined The Metropolitan Opera to cover Gilda in Rigoletto.
Refreshments will follow the Guild Home Performance.

AMICI Membership and Events
We are volunteers who run the auditions in New Orleans for the District and Gulf Coast Region. Members meet the singers and judges. We raise 100% of the funds to hold the competitions and award prize money.
