Met Opera Laffont New Orleans District Competition: Saturday, January 16, 2027
District singers who have been chosen through the initial audition process will compete to advance to the Gulf Coast Region competition.
Saturday District Auditions are FREE to the Public. There will be no ticketing for this event.
Vocal and musical theater students are encouraged to attend and teachers are encouraged to bring or send their students.

Met Opera Laffont Gulf Coast Regional Competition: Sunday, January 17, 2027
Winners of the New Orleans, Houston, and Puerto Rico Districts will compete to advance to the Semifinals at the Metropolitan Opera in New York City.
A reception follows the competition and attendees are encouraged to contribute to the Audience Favorite award which is given directly to the winner.
Sunday Regional Competition is free to: AMICI members, $15 for non-AMICI members, and FREE to Students and faculty of any educational institution.
Vocal and musical theater students are encouraged to attend and teachers are encouraged to bring or send their students. Parents of students are asked to make a $15 contribution.
Tickets are available at the door.

AMICI Master Class - Judge Jane Eaglen: Monday, January 18, 2027
Selected singers from the Gulf Region will participate in a master class taught by one of this year’s judges, Jane Eaglen.
The Monday master class is FREE for attendees. There will be no ticketing for this event.
