AmiciSings.org is the new digital home of AMICI.

AMICI - The non-profit organization that encourages young opera singers by conducting the Metropolitan Laffont Opera Competition for the New Orleans District and Gulf Coast Region.

The site is intended to promote awareness of AMICI to expand membership participation and to increase applicants and audiences for the Opera Competition. AMICI's work is to help foster the opera stars of tomorrow and the vocal arts on the Gulf Coast.

AmiciSings.org streamlines access to:

  • Online Membership subscriptions

  • Online Tickets for fundraising events such as our Emily Treigle Gala Concert to be held on September 13, 2025 at Christ Church Cathedral

  • Information about the Met Laffont District and Regional Competitions, this season January 31 and February 1, 2026 in New Orleans.

  • Updates on our winners, competitors, and local singers’ current performances and triumphs.

  • Our first-ever Gulf Coast Events Calendar! We have created a public calendar to highlight classical music in our area - an important resource for local audiences and performers. Event organizers are encouraged to use the event form to give us the details of their upcoming performances.
